Hair cut

This is probably going to be a boring post (sorry), but I'm procrastinating from homework. So today I'm just going to briefly talk about my most recent hair cut... (I know, illuminating)

A lot of my friends would agree with me when I say I'm pretty erratic with my actions. I am the type of person who alternates between trying to grow my hair long and then cutting it shoulder length. I also was the person who would alternate between fringe and non-fringe throughout high school. But over the past half year, because I was in the UK, I didn't get my haircut due to the fact I only let my lifelong hairdresser touch my hair (I'm loyal like that), which meant that my hair grew very long and even though I was always getting compliments, I really really really really wanted a hair cut. I wanted my massive ringlets to stop getting knotted after a night out or even just every time the wind blew. I pretty much was going through my "short hair longing mode" which I get every now and then.

And after a couple of weeks back in Australia, I finally was able to get my hair cut (YAY!) which I had been wanting for probably four months in the lead up. I would normally not dedicate a post about having a haircut, but it's just that I was really amused of how some people have responded to my hair going from halfway down my back to being approximately an inch and a half off my shoulders. Which, for me isn't a big deal because I have quite often had my hair shoulder length, but for some people they were shocked. For example:
-Some random teenage guy who was waiting for his haircut and when he saw my hairdresser just cutting the majority of my hair off. He actually had a look of horror on his face, which was highly entertaining.
-My mum, who I think was still just getting used to me being back at home, so she would just would stare at me for no reason and she'd keep on complimenting my hair as if I just made the most radical decision of my life, which is hilarious and slightly weird.

And that's it. That's the fun fact about my current hair status (as I said, illuminating)
