Dancing in the Moonlight

'Dancing in the moonlight' by Toploader has become my own official personal work-place national anthem. It is such an incredible song, with that really adorable music in the opening, which immediately causes the listener to start bopping along and wanting to just break into a dance, doesn't matter where you are.

And the reason why I associate it with work, is that the first time I ever heard it, I was at work and was like to my co-worker friend: "what is this song? I love it!" So the first thing I did when I got home, I bought the song and just listened to it a couple of times throughout the evening while dancing around my room and singing along. And when I heard it again at work, my same friend and I were on the same shift when this song began playing... we listened to it a couple of times and each time, it brought the same happiness and enjoyment that it did when we heard it for the first time.

I can safely say, that I am slightly obsessed with this song, and really want to share it with everyone (even though most people would probably already know it). It's just one of those songs that make you feel really good inside and those sort of songs (like 'Island in the sun' by Weezer or 'Better Together' by Jack Johnson) are best experienced when sharing it with others.
