I am extremely excited because my favourite singer, Marina and the Diamonds has just released a new song! It came out on the 10th October to celebrate her birthday, so it's like her giving a birthday present to the whole world. I can't even contain this excitement because it has been two years since her last album 'Electra Heart' came out (which is an incredible album and completely faultless in my opinion) I wasn't disappointed. Her new song is called 'Froot' and it is quite electronic at the beginning, but her voice is spectacular and the lyrics spark vivid imagery and is up to her always sensational poetic standard.
I do acknowledge that I am incredibly bias because I absolutely love her work so much, but I'm sure many people would probably not like this song or Marina's unique style, which can be described as new wave, electro-pop. However (okay, I'm going to sound really corny with this pun), this song is like a delicious piece of 'froot' that is a teaser for what the whole bowl will be like when the new album is going to come out. I don't know when an album is coming out, but I can't wait when it does.
